Being seen as Google’s version mac mini, Chromebox is a nettop device produced by Samsung which runs Chrome OS. Currently not much information is given. All we know is that it is tiny and comes without keyboard, mouse and monitor (quite mac mini, right?).
I can foresee how useful this device is. With a booting time as short as 8 seconds, it’s an amazing little internet device excellent for quick checking of emails, facebook, twitter, finding recipes, reading news, watching YouTube videos, seeing photos and playing time-killing games. Just buy a wireless keyboard and mouse and you can turn your TV into an internet TV.

If priced well enough, and has a good selection of ports, this could be an great little appliance (coupled with a Netflix extension so you can play movies and you’ve got win-win)!
Exactly. I have been looking for ways to turn Chromebook into set top box (read my blog post about DIY Google TV). A cheap but fast net-enabled device like Chromebook is perfect for this use.
