A stable channel has been added to Chrome OS, alongside the existing beta channel and dev channel. We are yet to see any release through this channel, but with the emergence of the stable channel, chances are commercial Chrome OS devices would be available soon. (Consider also the message by Google’s VP that Chrome notebooks should be ready in mid-year, I’m quite optimistic that we shouldn’t need to wait too long)
