[chrome web app] – Online file sharing without limitations

Every Monday I review web apps and share tips of productivity and work management.  SUBSCRIBE to RSS feed or email updates to know more!

Today’s featured web app is, an online file sharing tool.  In the past I have introduced other file transfer tools such as Minus, Large Documents and File AI.  What’s special about

GETT logo

No Registration Required

Like the other tools I reviewed, requires no registration, although you get more features with an account including live download statistics and a longer file live on its server.  But even without an account your file would be kept for 30 days, which is enough for most file transfer missions.

Simple User Interface has a clean and neat user interface.  On the main page you find a Select files button, just click on it and select the files to upload.  Yes you are right, it can handle multiple file”s”.  But you cannot upload a folder unless you compress it. - Gett file sharing

You can see the progress while the file is being uploaded.  Once the file upload begins, you get a dedicated hyperlink to this file, which could be sent to your friends for immediate sharing.  This is similar to what Large Documents offers. knows that people usually share messages via Facebook, Twitter and email, that’s why shortcut buttons are already provided. - Upload file

See the Add files button on the right?  I like because it allows me to change the content subsequently.  You can add new files to the same download link or remove any files.  It does not affect the download link.  And you can give every instance a title, so that if you have many files stored on separately you don’t have to distinguish them by the meaningless hyperlinks.

This review is short because it doesn’t need to be long. has almost everything you needed and presents them in a tidy way.  I just love the way they handle my files and the ease of sharing the link with friends.  If you often need to share files with friends, you gonna love it.

For just $0.99!

This is the first time I create a paid information product.  Let me take this opportunity to explain again why I published this book.  I don’t think I could possibly make a fortune with a book costing just $0.99, but I do hope to find ways to fund this blog which totally rely on readers’ support to pay domain fees and hosting bills etc.

I enjoy writing for all of you, the readers I treasure, and sharing with you awesome web apps and Chrome news.  I hope you enjoy my new ebook.  Your generosity keeps this site alive!  Thank you, all of you.
